TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use ("Terms") cover your use of hlthhv.com (the "Site"), which is run by Health Hive LLC ("Health Hive," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
NOTHING ON THIS SITE IS MEDICAL ADVICE
The Site tells you about our clinic, our services, and our products. It is general information, not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for being seen by a clinician who knows your history.
Nothing here diagnoses your problem or tells you what your treatment should be. Do not delay getting care, or ignore advice you have already been given, because of something you read here.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
A FREE CONSULT IS A CONVERSATION, NOT TREATMENT
Our free discovery call is exactly that: a conversation about what you are dealing with and whether we can help. It is not an evaluation, not a diagnosis, and not treatment.
Requesting a consult, having one, or sending us a message through this Site does not make you a patient of Health Hive and does not start a clinician and patient relationship. That begins when you come in, we evaluate you, and we agree on a plan of care together.
CONTACTING US
When you fill out our form or call us, please give us accurate information so we can reach you and understand what you need. What you send us is handled the way our Privacy Policy describes.
We may decline, reschedule or cancel a consult or an appointment, and we may decide that what you need is not something we are the right people to provide. If that happens we will tell you and, where we can, point you somewhere better.
INSURANCE AND PAYMENT
Health Hive is a private-pay clinic. We do not bill insurance and we do not process insurance claims. On request we can give you an itemized receipt with the CPT codes insurers ask for (a superbill), which you may submit to your insurer yourself. Whether they reimburse you, and how much, is between you and your insurer, and we cannot promise any outcome there.
Any prices shown on the Site are in US dollars and can change.
THE STORE
Our online store runs on Squarespace, and payments are processed by Stripe. When you place an order you are agreeing to buy the item at the price shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
We try to keep the store accurate, but a product can be listed with the wrong price, description or availability by mistake. If that happens we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fill it.
You must be at least 18 years old to buy from our store.
If an order arrives damaged, wrong, or does not arrive, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will make it right.
ABOUT OUR CBD PRODUCTS
Our topical CBD products are not medicines.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
If you are pregnant or nursing, taking medication, or being treated for a health condition, talk to your own clinician before using them. Keep them away from children. They are for external use as directed on the label.
COURSES AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
Health Hive hosts and teaches dry needling courses, and the Site lists sessions we teach. Registration, payment, course requirements and any continuing-education credit are handled by Intricate Art Seminars, not by Health Hive. When you click through to sign up, you are on their website and their terms and policies apply, not ours. Questions about credit, prerequisites, refunds or cancellation for a course go to them.
USING THE SITE
Please do not:
- Misuse our forms or store, including spam, automated scraping, or sending false information
- Try to break into, disrupt, or test the Site or the systems behind it
- Use the Site for anything unlawful, or to harass anyone
- Post or send anything about another person's health without their permission
OUR CONTENT
The Site and what is on it (text, photographs, design, our name and our logo) belong to Health Hive or to the people we licensed it from. You are welcome to read it and share a link to it. Please do not republish it, copy it into your own site or materials, or use the Health Hive name or logo, without asking us first.
OTHER COMPANIES' SERVICES, AND LINKS OUT
The Site depends on other companies to run: Squarespace hosts it, Stripe takes payments, Google provides our email and our spam protection, and other tools may be embedded in a page. The Site also links out to places we do not control, including our social media pages and our course provider.
Once you are on someone else's site or using their tool, their terms and their privacy policy apply, not ours, and we are not responsible for what they do.
NO WARRANTIES
The Site is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be working, error free, or secure, and we do not promise that everything on it is complete or current. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the warranties that would otherwise apply, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
LIMITS ON OUR LIABILITY
To the fullest extent the law allows, Health Hive is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site. Our total liability arising out of the Site will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100).
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits our responsibility for the care we actually provide to a patient in our clinic. This section is about the website.
CHANGES
We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site after that means you accept the update.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the Site goes to the state courts of Monmouth County, New Jersey.
