Jordan Chan PT, DPT
Dr. Chan was born in New York and grew up in central New Jersey. She received a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in western Pennsylvania where she played collegiate lacrosse. Jordan began her physical therapy journey as a patient with a torn ACL during her lacrosse season. After extensive rehab, she decided to become a doctor of physical therapy to help people the way she was helped.
After four years near Pittsburgh, Jordan ventured to Philadelphia where she attended and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from historic Saint Joseph’s University. Immediately after graduation, Jordan began working at one of the most prestigious sports facilities in New Jersey: Elite Sports Physical Therapy (ESPT) in Tinton Falls, NJ. There she studied directly under Dr. Sharon Wentworth, regarded as a titan in the sports therapy world and the best ACL rehab specialist in the state of New Jersey.
Inspired by own hand therapy, Jordan plans to pursue her board certification in Hand Therapy. Other areas of interest include becoming a certified specialist in dry needling and manual therapy.
When Jordan is not in the clinic, she is likely at a family party, singing karaoke, traveling with her fiancé, or reading a book on the beach. Some of her favorite hobbies include fashion design, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
